Our therapeutic treatments are all customised to suit you. While our specialty is problem solving complex pain issues, our work is a little different to what you may have experienced before. We have unique training, and over many years of experience have developed a unique approach to solving problems.
We are investigating and assessing muscular tension and tracking lymphatic fluid flow wherever we work, as well as mapping and releasing relating sympathetic responses throughout the body to optimise results and give your body a deep clean and a fresh start.
Put simply, we provide a very thorough treatment, even if you think your issue is only in your elbow.

Remedial Massage is a targeted, problem solving massage designed to find the source of pain, create relief and promote healing. This is a therapeutic treatment involving a number of specialised techniques to locate and resolve specific bodily issues, whilst encouraging improved overall mobility and wellbeing.
Although we are primarily focussed on musculoskeletal issues, we can assist with other concerns, with a broad toolkit of techniques and years of unique training.

Deep Tissue Massage is a deep, firm to very-firm massage, designed to target adhesions in the muscle fibres, and release deep muscular tension. Where adhesions or congestion are present, the treatment draws attention, energy and blood to the area, breaking up and expelling congestion or debris. Some discomfort may occur and remain present after a treatment, but soon diminishes once the area recovers.
We utilise a number of remedial tools, and tend to incorporate other techniques to make your treatment even more effective.

A healing indulgence. Fast becoming one of the most popular massage treatments in spas across the country. A Warm to Hot Stone massage can help sooth painful regions and soften muscles. Whilst it feels quite luxurious, it is also a very effective remedial technique, enhancing circulation, lymphatic flow and promoting general relaxation.
We can help get the bottom of your digestive complaints, discuss common inflammatory food responses and make suggestions to optimise your physical function and performance.
Bowen Therapy is a Remedial technique and consists of cross friction techniques, targeting trigger points and giving the nervous system signals for the body to self correct and relax muscles. A very powerful and effective tool.
Also a standalone treatment, if preferred.
Craniosacral Therapy is not a massage as such, but a very gentle hands-on technique to locate, identify and evaluate spinal cord dysfunctions, and restrictions of the cranial membranes that subdivide and support the brain. It can also be used to pinpoint and help areas of restricted Cerebral Spinal Fluid flow, and nerve function.
A Craniosacral treatment enhances the body’s natural healing process, and can be effective for a wide range of issues, such as:

Used throughout pregnancy, Craniosacral Therapy improves comfort by helping the body adapt to the growing foetus. Craniosacral is also ideal for post-natal depression and the treatment of newborns can quickly resolve problems arising from the baby’s position in utero and during birth.

Can be a standalone treatment, or combined with Lymphatic or Remedial treatments for enhanced results. Please consult with your therapist for suggestions to suit your needs.
Specifically designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, the system responsible for cleaning up waste in the body.
Can be particularly beneficial for those with issues of congestion, and tired or sluggish detox pathways. A perfect match with a Remedial or Relaxation massage, for greater results.
We are training to detect lymph blockages, and aid in their release; to ensure your lymph is draining efficiently; to work with superficial and deep lymphatic transit pathways.
Deep abdominal lymphatic work, or visceral manipulation in combination with some remedial musculoskeletal techniques can assist with constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, back pain and period pain.
We are also trained in lymphatic breast care. Especially important for women after mastectomies or lumpectomies, or any lymphatic system injury, such as node removal, to avoid long term health complications and edema.
The Emmett Technique is a similarly safe and simple muscle release therapy. It is used to address pain and discomfort, improve body movement, assist in realignment and can restore a positive emotional state.
Reflexology works the reflex points of the feet that correspond to every gland, organ and region of the body. These points respond to pressure, stimulating the body’s own natural healing process.
The body starts progressively clearing blockages, re-establishing energy flows and balancing itself, resulting in better health. Many report feeling energised throughout the body after a treatment.

A Swedish or Relaxation massage, is a relaxing, gentle massage designed to assist the body to relax and tissues to soften.
Perfect for those wanting to experience the soothing qualities of a massage, without any remedial or corrective techniques. General benefits include increased circulation, improved lymph flow and reduced general tension.
Reiki is a beautifully subtle form of energy healing originating from Japan, designed to work with the body’s own life force energy, inspiring relaxation, harmony and healing. Reiki as with many forms of energy work are very calming to the central nervous system. Reiki can be beneficial alone, or in combination with other therapies. A gentle treatment for all ages.

Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage, inspired to assist the lymphatic system, and opening of the heart. A very soothing and relaxing experience, working gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, totally nurturing the body and enabling the recipient to relax and let go. Lomi Lomi helps release blockages, and allows energy to flow.
